This page lists materials that have been approved or denied entry to the game. Requests for materials to be approved can be directed either via the #world-build-requests or sent directly to the DM. That a material has been approved or denied will not generally be kept secret, however -- once approved, it is available for anyone to use, subject to the same limitations.
Broadly Accepted Books
- PHB, PHB II
- DMG, DMG II
- Monster Manual(s) (Note that not all monsters actually exist in this world. Seek permission before creating a monstrous character.)
- "Complete" Series
- Tome of Battle
Specifically Approved Materials
- Blood Money spell from Pathfinder is approved for use.
- Cloistered Cleric Variant is approved for use. Note that Identify, when cast as a 1st level divine spell, still consumes the expensive material component. If prepared as a 2nd level divine spell, it does not.
- Conjurer Variant is approved for use.
- Draconic template, website for quick reference, authoritative source is Races of the Dragon, pg. 74. Players using this should note any specifically draconic features the character has -- it will have social implications, both good and ill, in the Dragonlands.
- Elf Wizard Racial Substitution Levels, per Races of the Wild, pg. 157, are approved for use in play.
- Rashemi Elemental Summoning is approved for use. Ignore all references to Rashemen -- you simply know how to summon a particular variant of elemental.
- Spellcasting Prodigy is approved for use. Note that this feat modifies your ability score for bonus spells only -- it does not modify DCs, for example.
- Wild Cohort is approved for use in play.
Specifically Denied Materials
- Aasimar and Tieflings (nor their Lesser varieties) do not exist in this setting.
- Greater Draconic Rite of Passage, remainder of web enhancement not evaluated.
